Caramel Apple Smoothie

Servings: Serves 1

Ingredients

1 medium apple, peeled, cored and chopped

1 banana, frozen

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 cup milk or plant-based milk

1–2 teaspoons caramel sauce or maple syrup, to taste

½ teaspoon cinnamon

Ice cubes, optional for extra chill

Preparation

Combine the apple, banana, almond butter, milk, caramel and cinnamon in a blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a colder, thicker texture.

Taste and adjust sweetness with extra caramel or maple syrup if desired.

Pour into a glass, and serve immediately.
