Servings: 4

Ingredients

For the Maple Glaze:

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 salmon fillets (6 oz. each), skin-on

Salt and black pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Preparation

In a small bowl, whisk together all the maple glaze ingredients: maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, salt and black pepper.

Set aside.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.

Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the top of each salmon fillet with a generous amount of the maple glaze.

Season the salmon with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness and flakes easily with a fork.

While the salmon is baking, you can heat the remaining glaze in a small saucepan over low heat.

Simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.

Once the salmon is done, drizzle some of the warmed glaze over the top.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
